The Florida primary was this week. Sadly, Giuliani withdrew from the presidential election. Rudy was banking on a victory in Florida. In fact, Florida was pretty much the only state in which he campaigned. I guess he should "not have put all of his eggs in one basket". I am so suprised that he has backed out. Voters must have forgotten about the whole "America's mayor". It looks like McCain and Romney will have to duke it out. After all the Republican nomination is on the line.
On the Democratic side, John Edwards has backed out as well. An interesting fact is that the Florida primary does not count for the Democratic candidates. The DNC is upset that the primary could not be held either on or after Feb 5. That Florida does not count is a little difficult to understand. I will be sure to ask professor Bragaw to clarify.
Since the point of this blog is to see politicians in a funny and interesting light, I have decided to add a great link. This link shows Rudy Giuliani in drag. Yes, he is dressed as a woman. Donald Trump is also in the clip. What better way to remember Rudy's run for the White House.
